Travel and Non-Travel Team Tryouts for the 2023-2024 Season

All athletes that attend tryouts will be notified of Coastal Volleyball Academy's decision for team placement via

email within 24-48 hours of the tryout completion.  Families will have a deadline to make their decision and submit the

$500 non-refundable deposit.  All tryouts will be held at Safety Harbor Community Center 650 Ninth Ave. S, Safety

Harbor Florida 34695.  Our pricing reflects AAU participation from ALL Coastal Teams (13-17) thru late June,

including practices.

Check-ins begin 30 minutes before each tryout!

All registrations must be completed online prior to attending tryouts!

2023-24 Team Levels: 

Elite Teams 14U - 18U

• Compete in 3 Junior National Qualifier Tournaments, including out-of-state (ALL MANDATORY)

• Multiple overnight trips

• AAU Nationals in June (Except 18 Elite)

• USA Nationals in June/July - pending qualification

Attendance at ALL practices and tournaments are mandatory*


Regional Teams / Elite Teams 10U - 13U

• Compete in 1 or 2 Florida Junior National Qualifier Tournaments (ALL MANDATORY)

• All tournaments will be held in-state, primarily in Central and Western Florida

• AAU Nationals in June

• USA Nationals in June/July - pending qualification

Attendance at ALL practices and tournaments are mandatory*

• 15U-18U Athletes: Coastal College Recruitment Form. 

• 2024 USAV Age Definitions Confirm your athletes correct age!  Parents, this is YOUR responsibility. Although Coastal Volleyball Academy will make every effort to help, we will not be held responsible for athletes trying out for the incorrect age.

• Fully complete the USAV Notarized Medical Release Form and bring to check-in.

• Current USAV Membership & Current AAU Membership. Bring a copy of your daughter's current membership cards.  Select "Undecided" as your club until you have been selected on a team. Upon acceptance log back into your USAVFL Region account and change your club affiliation to:  Coastal Volleyball Academy / AAU Club Code: W375D8

• Fully complete the Coastal COVID-19 Return to Play Waiver and bring to check-in.

Early-Bird Tryout - $50.00 Tryout Fee

Tryout early and secure your position with Coastal Volleyball Academy! Join us for a full tryout and be among the first athletes selected for our 2023-24 travel team season.  

Walk-ins the day of Tryouts will be charged a $60 Tryout Fee upon arrival.
