Coastal KiDS - is a program for ages 12 and Under to work with our experienced coaches who bring their wealth of

knowledge to the court to help younger athletes develop motor skills, coordination and stamina all in a fun and volleyball

related setting. There is no previous experience needed for the Coastal KiDS program. We are able to tailor all practices

to allow athletes with no experience to get better and allow the most experienced athletes to continue to grow and develop.

Times: 6:00 - 7:00
Dates: 5/18 - 5/21 - 5/25 - 5/28 - 6/1 - 6/4 - 6/8 - 6/11 - 6/15 - 6/18 - 6/22 - 6/25 - 6/29 (Sundays and Thursdays)

Coastal Setting Academy's 2023 Schedule @ Safety Harbor Community Center / 7:00 - 8:00

2023 Coastal Setting Academy

CSA - All academy participants are instructed in the basics of the setting position including footwork to the ball, hand

position, release on the ball, and setting tempo. Participants train for speed, accuracy, consistency, and decision-making. 

While all participants learn the same foundations of setting, they will also learn (when appropriate) more advanced

techniques such as jump setting, tracking the block, holding opposing middle blockers, and game strategy.  CSA is also

beneficial to athletes interested in learning to set.

Times: 7:00 - 8:00
Dates: 5/18 - 5/25 - 6/1 - 6/8 - 6/15 (All Thursdays)

2024 Travel Teams

Coastal Volleyball Academy is committed to accommodating as many players as possible. Each Age group will have an Elite and Navy (Regional) team per age group to Register for the 2022-23 club season 10-18's!

**Prices will be adjusted for the 2023-24 Season**

Session I

Date: Thursday July 13th / 13U & 14U

  • 13U & 14U / 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
  • $500 Non-refundable Deposit & Club Commitment due upon position acceptance.
  • Location: Safety Harbor Community Center 650 Ninth Ave. S Safety Harbor Florida 34695
  • Positions WILL NOT be held until the deposit is made!
  • Check-in begins 30 minutes before each tryout!


Session II

Date: Sunday July 16th / 15U, 16U, 17U & 18U

  • 15U, 16U, 17U & 18U / 12:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • $500 Non-refundable Deposit & Club Commitment due upon position acceptance.
